Our stay in Paris was a short 24 hours…what do you do in 24 hours to enjoy the city?…very little sleep and lots of walking.  We landed from Toronto at 6 am…dropped our luggage off at our hotel…we stayed at a wonderful boutique hotel (amazing location) Hotel Britannique (picture below), grabbed a coffee and walked for hours to see as much as possible:

  • Notre-Dame (we were fortunate to see Notre-Dame before the tragic fire)
  • Louvre
  • Champs-Elysees
  • Arc de Triomphe
  • Pont des Arts (love lock bridge…and yes we added a lock and tossed the key in the River Seine)
  • Walked along River Seine…very romantic
  • Eiffel Tower
  • Dinner by the Eiffel Tower
  • Sleep…very little up the next morning to the train station to catch our train to Amsterdam
