The Unit is a top floor unit (3^rd floor) – 2 Bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, full kitchen (plus an additional kitchenette) and a large balcony with breathtaking ocean view. This private condo is located at Castaways Cove (part of the Wyndham Reef Resort), on the East End of Grand Cayman. The East End of Grand Cayman is serene and less crowded.

Check-in: upon confirming your reservation and prior to your arrival, we will provide you with the contact information for our local on-island property manager. The Property Manager will meet you in the lobby of Wyndham Reef Resort and escort you to the unit and get you settled in.

If you love snorkeling, the beach at Wyndham Reef is full of tons of beautiful fish and the dock at Morritt’s Resort (a short walk away) also has amazing snorkeling under the dock…here’s a few pictures:

We love spending the day at Rum Point, which is a 10 minute drive away…amazing beach, awesome food + drinks, free beach loungers and excellent water sports (Red Sail Sports)…very neat to see stingrays out by the boats…here’s a picture of me holding a sting ray:

Stingray City is Grand Cayman’s top tourist attraction, which brings you up close and personal with Grand Cayman’s friendly stingrays (very neat). Tours to Stingray City can be taken from Run Point…here’s a few links:

The following is a review that can be posted to your website. If you think I need to make any changes or add a specific comment, let me know.

When we were planning a trip to the Cayman Islands for January 2022, we reached out to Bryon in the summer of 2021 and inquired about his property rental located in the East End at CastAway Cove. Although we had inquired into other vacation rentals, we decided to book with Bryon, not only because of the rental property and location, but also because he was responsive and projected assurance through his communication with us.

We initially booked Bryon’s rental property for January with a deposit, obtained our Cayman Travel Certificates and arranged for the pre-departure COVID tests needed for arrival. A week before our scheduled departure, we told Bryon that we would be changing our plans and would like to reschedule the trip for later when travel may be less restrictive due to the declared pandemic. Bryon was very understanding as we postponed our trip by some 6 weeks and he was very helpful as we re-rescheduled without a glitch and got our trip in.

Apart from being very accommodating, the property itself is also very accommodating. It is exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. Bryon also arranged to put us in contact with a reputable car rental agency wherein discounts on the car rental rates are given to tourist booking his condominium unit at CastAway Cove.

The condominium and property that it is located on is very well maintained, has varies nearby restaurants, some shopping and a grocery store is offered right across the street and the pool and beach area is cleaned every day. Check-in and check-out was seamless, and those were the only reasons we had to contact Bryon’s property manager on the island.

Being directly on the Caribbean Sea and on a quite beach makes for a perfect trip and we will surely go back and re-book with Bryon for yet another trip to the Caymans.

Dear Bryon,

Bryon and Denitha have a wonderful place in a wonderful destination. Their stylish, bright 3^rd floor condo overlooking the water divides into two parts, one a master bdrm and bath with its own balcony, the other (through adjoining doors) a full on suite for one’s kids or fellow travellers with its own spacious balcony and ocean view off the living room. The condo itself has everything you need, plus there’s a grocery store, atm, wine store, and a couple of restaurants either right across the street or in the resort of which it is a part, or the one next door. This description may make it sound like their place is in a bustling centre of activity, but it’s at a quiet end of the island and very tranquil. It’s easy to get to (with a vehicle) and Bryon and Denitha have good local arrangements – and good suggestions – for settling in. At the other end of the island (about a 45 min. drive away) is the stunning Seven Mile Beach, which justly shows up on travel lists. The food on the island is great (surprisingly plentiful good Indian, for instance at Sunset House), though restaurant service was generally not a highlight. We were neophytes to this kind of holiday; now we know what all the fuss is about.
